      There some games that doesn't work with the ir-pcsx-rearmed core. I think Psybadek is one of them.
      I was test it in a Pi 3 and it crash too.

      @sirhenrythe5th said in Which Mame is suggested for the a Pi 4 with 4GB of Ram?:

      @Jiryn But you got it working now?
      Hint: if you map "Cancel GUI" to "select" + "start" you can exit the games like you are used to with the lr-emulators ;)
      Hint2: if you furthermore want to get rid of the exit-menu, set "safe_exit=0" in the AdvanceMame-config-file.

      Sadly no, when I hit tab and try to configure my controller it just ignores it
      I've tried both general and this game and neither seems to accept the inputs of the controller

      Unless I am missing something
      Games run great though!

      Nm fixed it!
      I have to hold the buttons to register...I can be a derp
      How do I save it though? When I switch or reset all my controls disappeared

      @theissdev I should also mention that this was really my only issue in moving from the Pi 3B+ to the Pi4. Everything else was super simple. Ledspicer required a manual reinstall on the Pi4 simply due to being a bin exe, but that was really it. Most of the old -> new stuff (artwork, custom theme, etc.) all ported over w/ 0 issues. Def. worth the wait. Thanks guys!

      @CobraKai I have not, but it looks like the xow driver is only for use with the Xbox wireless dongle. (I think it only references bluetooth on the 'supported devices' frame to differentiate it from the the other models)

      @uncledisgusting said in lr-pcsx rearmed not responding to psx controllers and can't get into menu to configure them - please help! - retropie4.6 pi 4:

      system_directory = "~/RetroPie/BIOS"

      That should be present in the /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch.cfg file, which is included in the psx config - so you should check that file and maybe reset it to the default set by RetroPie.

      Hi @asksolutions01 !

      It was fixed using the information in the thread above. I had to disable the EDID detection and add manual configuration settings on my display via the config file.

      This is also the info from the online documentation:

      hdmi_ignore_edid
      Setting hdmi_ignore_edid to 0xa5000080 enables the ignoring of EDID/display data if your display does not have an accurate EDID. It requires this unusual value to ensure that it is not triggered accidentally.

      Link to the documentation website

      @inolen thanks - your post made me realise that I could just put the TV into 4:3 mode, rather than try and make ReDream correct the aspect ratio somehow. Doh! Will try that.

      @chupachups
      I could not remember which of the two screens contained the mouse axis. I think my suggestion for remaps would only apply to items in the Quick Menu -> Controls. Since the mouse axis isn't in there it must be the override that is supposed to save it.

      I think there have been reports of some settings not saving correctly as expected. I read someone was able to save settings by opening the retroarch menu from within Emulation Station and therefore no ROM was loaded. Might be worth a try if you haven't already.

      EDIT: I can confirm that neither overrides nor remaps will save a mouse index setting for me either.

      @pheedback I had the same issue when I got my RPI4 a few weeks ago.

      I have a fairly old 1080p Sony Bravia, first boot nothing so then all the usual cable swapping etc and managed to get video but no sound out of the other hdmi port. (Sound only from hdmi port 0 by default but can be changed).

      After reading some posts on the official rpi forum, I tried a newer 1080p tv which ran perfectly. I have since read it could be the 4K output is not compatible with old 1080p tv’s, maybe an old hdmi version on the old tv?

      I’ve gone back to the Sony TV and it works perfectly now, maybe the rpi has defaulted to a 1080p signal that it detected from the newer tv.

      it does have a dynarec right now but it's WIP, especially on ARM. i just tried it today. works for wipeout great (but still some audio cut outs), but tekken 2 locks up fairly quickly. once it's ready for prime time we will get it added.

      Does Discord has an application that can be run on a Raspberry PI ? Their clients include mac/windows/linux (x86) or android, but I don't see anything for a system with ARM CPU.

      As far as I know, RetroArch on PC/Mac/Linux has the possibility to interact with Discord, but in the end it needs to be properly integrated into RetroPie.

      What are you thinking when you say 'integrating' ?
      If it's already included in RetroArch, the you can configure it and you're good to go.

      @mitu
      I also installed Retropie 4.5.1 using same method as @kennex as there is no official image for RPI 4 releases yet.
      Today I tried to configure wiimote for arcade shooting games using my wiimote as gun.
      Thing is, in-game, crosshair is not moving, can only make it move with D-pad, and buttons A & B doesn't work aswell
      I'am using official nintendo wiimote motion plus and dolphin bar (May Flash), wiimote is connected through dolphin bar not in bluetooth.
      On raspbian desktop, everything is right, I can use my wiimote as mouse and buttons A & B works as right/left mouse click.
      Command cat /dev/input/mouse0 shows me wiimote is sending signals, so it seems to be working, only by moving wrist not pushing any wiimote buttons..

      But still didn't figured what was the issue in-game.

      Could it be related to the use of RPI 4 and non-official install method ?

      Thanks a lot.

      @IceChes1 said in USB ROM Service isn't working:

      If you don't want to help me you don't have to.

      You've been helped more than once on this forum and I personally answered to some of your topics - there's no reason to take it personally, it's not. Diagnosing 3rd party badly/mis-configured image is not something we do here and there's good reasons to do so.

      The Pi is a learning and educational device - if you don't want to put up the time and effort to learn some of its intricacies that's up to you, but don't expect everything to be plug-and-play. Given the popularity of the device, there's tons of information and documentation on how to configure/create things with the Pi and you can take advantage of that.

      My retropie has tearing all the time, and when I add "dtoverlay = vc4-kms-v3d-pi4, noaudio" to config.xml, I get splash screen and screen saver hiccups.
